About Mr. Sherman
Mr. Sherman is a co-founding partner of Sherman & Lacey, LLP and his practice emphasizes defense of insurers and insureds in federal and state court litigation. Following graduation from LSU Law Center in 1994, Mr. Sherman has been admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts, all Alabama state courts and all Mississippi state courts. Additionally, he is admitted to practice in all federal district courts located in Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi. He is also admitted to practice in the federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the federal Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Sherman’s litigation defense practice encompasses a variety of fields of law. He has defended employment law claims, director and officer claims, homeowner association and condominium association claims, public sector claims, housing authority claims, federal workers compensation claims under the Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act, maritime law claims, OSHA claims, trucking law claims, miscellaneous professional liability, and general liability claims. Additionally, Mr. Sherman has advised various insurers on coverage matters and has advised various business entities and organizations.
